CALLAN GREEN, ACS, NZCS
Callan Green is a New Zealand–born, prolific, award-winning Director of Photography with over 27 years of experience across feature films, television, commercials, and music videos.
His recent credits include Universal’s Nobody 2, directed by Timo Tjahjanto and starring Bob Odenkirk, as well as the upcoming The Beekeeper 2, the action sequel starring Jason Statham. He also shot episodes 5-8 of Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen for Netflix.
Callan’s career includes extensive second unit and splinter unit work on major studio productions such as Fast & Furious 9, Fast X, and Masters of the Air, the acclaimed Band of Brothers follow-up from Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
A recipient of the 2024 New Zealand Cinematographer of the Year award, Callan is accredited by both the Australian Cinematographers Society and the New Zealand Cinematographers Society. His commercial and music video portfolio includes global campaigns for brands like Audi, Sony, Mercedes, and McLaren, along with music videos for artists such as Ed Sheeran, James Blunt, One Direction, and George Michael.
Callan is passionate about the craft of visual storytelling and the role of colour in shaping mood, emotion, and narrative. He is honoured to serve as a jury member for the 2025 FilmLight Colour Awards and to help celebrate excellence in colour across the industry.
