BOBOLA ONIWURA, CSI
Bobola Oniwura, CSI, is an acclaimed Film Colorist and Creative Director with over a decade of experience defining the visual language of African cinema. His color work includes the record-breaking “A Tribe Called Judah” and the iconic Netflix original “King of Boys: The Return of the King.” As Lead Colorist at Ingenuity Pictures, Bobola has contributed to three of the top 10 highest-grossing Nollywood films, bringing a nuanced, emotionally resonant approach to each project.
Bobola is West Africa’s only Certified DaVinci Resolve Trainer, empowering a new generation of storytellers through hands-on training in color grading and post-production. He is also a Full Member of the Colorist Society International (CSI), the globally recognized body for film colorists and DIT engineers. As host of The Colorist Society Podcast, Bobola amplifies the voices of colorists and post-production artists from around the world, creating a platform for conversation, mentorship, and global industry insight.
Bobola’s cross-disciplinary foundation in architecture, digital strategy, and human factors design informs his meticulous eye for tone, balance, and narrative cohesion. A frequent speaker and trainer, he has educated over 140 creatives across West Africa and remains committed to elevating the craft through mentorship, global collaboration, and the celebration of bold visual storytelling.
